Clacton County High School - Open Evening 2024
Parents and Carers of Year 6 pupils have to consider their child’s secondary school place for September 2025. This is a key decision in the life of any child.
This year's Open Evening took place on Thursday 19th September, if you were unable to join us, or would like an additional tour of the school during a normal school day, then you are welcome to join one of the three school tours listed below.
NB. Those scheduled for during the school day are restricted to parents only and limited to 10 families per session.

Please note the deadline for secondary school applications is the 31st October 2024.
Applications must be completed online and you should check that you receive an email confirming your application has been received.
Schools should be listed in preferential order, placing Clacton County High School first on the list if you wish your child to attend our school

All applications for secondary school admission in September 2025 must be made by 31st October 2024 by following the application process outlined by Essex County Council on their website - HERE
Late submissions may not be able to gain a place at CCHS.
Appeals Information
Essex County Council have issued the following information regarding appeals:
If you have been refused a place at any school for which you applied, you have the right to appeal to an independent appeal panel. Appeals must be lodged within 20 school days of being refused a place. There is no guarantee of success with any admission appeal. We, therefore, advise you not to refuse the school place offered until you have secured another place for your child’s education.
